Faculty, staff, and graduate students can request articles and book chapters which are not currently available within the NU Library collection through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
Please send your article and book chapter requests to email@example.com with full citation information.
You can also use this form to make requests.
Before placing an Interlibrary Loan request, be sure the item is not available either locally in our e-resourcescollection or in Open Access.
We are happy to provide for your research, teaching, and study needs, and will do our absolute best to acquire the materials you need as quickly and efficiently as possible. Generally, it takes aroud 1-3 days for the items to be delivered to you by email.
While we are proud to offer the InterLibrary Loan service at no cost to our users, we ask that our patrons be mindful of the fact that the provision of these services is not without cost to the Library and the University.
If you have overdue books on your account, we will not be able to process your ILL requests until the books are either returned or renewed.
When requesting book chapters, keep in mind that due to copyright restrictions, we are only able to deliver two chapters from a book.
Confirmations and notifications are sent to the corresponding NU email address.
