Hi Dilyara,
You're doing a fantastic job this semester! Remember to give yourself credit more often, and don’t forget to get enough sleep and eat well. Experiencing panic attacks is common when preparing for exams. To help manage them, consider reaching out to the
NU Psychology Club or the
Health and Wellbeing Department for guidance on how to relax and keep up with your studies. Also, don’t forget about your family; they’re always ready to support you. Or, take some time to visit friends to relax and recharge together. You might also consider taking short breaks like going for a walk, doing some little exercise, or finding a fancy coffee shop or place where you can shift the focus while recharging the mind.
Be sure to check in with your peers and see how they’re preparing as well. Planning your studies in advance can make a big difference. Break your assignments down by week and mark your exam dates. Set aside specific times each day for studying, and practice answering questions to build confidence. Stay ready for unexpected tasks and consider participating in group study sessions. If you fancy some reading, you might want to check some books in
Primo to keep you company during breaks.
Remember, you always have a plan B. When things get tough, you can reach out to your best friends or family for support. Their encouragement can work wonders if you believe in them. Also, each progress, even if its small, is still progress. Celebrate small wins, too! <3
Hope this helps!
Beyond books,
