On April 28, the NU Library hosted a compelling book presentation of “Issues of the Language of Science” (Ғылым тілі мәселелері) by Dr. Sarkyt Aliszhan, Doctor of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Kazakh Language and Turkic Studies, School of Sciences and Humanities, Nazarbayev University.
The event brought together students, researchers, and faculty members to explore key questions surrounding the language of science and scientific discourse. Dr. Aliszhan introduced his book, which synthesizes years of research in the field.
The presentation sparked engaging discussions on how scientific knowledge is structured and communicated, highlighting the importance of language in shaping academic thought.
