Empowering NU Librarians with AI Literacy through Professional Development

On May 21, 2025, we concluded the final session of the AI Literacy Training Series, organized by the Teaching and Learning Support Office at the NU Library. This month-long series was part of the library’s ongoing professional development initiatives.

Designed as an active learning experience, the training offered participants the opportunity to explore artificial intelligence not just in theory, but in practice. From ethical considerations and privacy concerns to fostering inclusivity in AI-integrated library workflows, we gained valuable insights and tools to stay current in an evolving digital landscape.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our colleagues, April and Darya, for their initiative and dedication in organizing this thoughtful and timely program. Thanks to their efforts, we’re better equipped to lead with confidence and curiosity in the age of AI.
