On September 11, 2025, NU Library hosted a discussion Stories That Make Us Stronger as part of the university-wide campaign to raise awareness about mental health. The event attracted some of the most well-read NU students and faculty, who came together to reflect on how literature can support personal resilience and well-being.
During the discussion, participants shared their own “books of support,” novels and stories where fictional heroes became examples of courage and strength of spirit. The meeting fostered an atmosphere of warmth and understanding, while also helping the NU community discover new books and authors that can inspire in times of challenge.
Through initiatives like this, NU Library continues to create inclusive spaces where reading connects people, sparks dialogue, and supports mental health and well-being.
