On June 30, 2026, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the scientific and practical conference “The New Constitution: Institutional and Legal Foundations of Sustainable Development,” dedicated to the implementation of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The conference brought together more than 150 representatives of government agencies, Parliament, the judiciary, the legal profession, international organizations, the academic and expert communities, as well as leading national and international universities.
Ziyat Abdykaimov, Expert on Assistive Technologies and Accessibility at the NU Library, delivered a presentation titled “Digital Rights and Digital Inclusion in the Context of Updated Constitutional Guarantees.” He also participated in the presentation of the Braille edition of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The presentation was held as part of the Government initiative “Constitution for an Inclusive Society,” aimed at ensuring equal access to the text of the country's Basic Law for all citizens.
