Reflecting on Global Media and Information Literacy Week 2024 at NU Library!

What an incredible week it has been! NU Library proudly celebrated Global Media and Information Literacy Week 2024, focusing on the theme “The New Digital Frontiers of Information: Media and Information Literacy for Public-Interest Information.” The week was filled with engaging discussions and hands-on activities designed to empower our community.

  • Community of Practice (CoP) Session: We launched the week with an inspiring session on UNESCO’s AI Competency Framework for Teachers. This session provided valuable insights into integrating AI into education responsibly while maintaining a human-centered approach.
  • MIL Book Display: Our special book display featured essential resources aimed at strengthening media literacy skills. If you missed it, you can still explore our digital collection here.
  • 7th Library InfoLit Race Challenge: The week culminated in the thrilling InfoLit Race, where students showcased their critical thinking skills in a fun and competitive environment.
