Special Book Exhibition: Stories That Make Us Stronger

The NU Library is delighted to announce a special book exhibition, Stories That Make Us Stronger, dedicated to the healing and inspiring power of literature.

This exhibition brings together works of fiction and memoirs that shine a light on human resilience, courage, and the pursuit of hope even in the face of challenges. Through the journeys of memorable characters and real individuals, these stories remind us that literature can be a true companion during difficult times.

What you will find in the exhibition
  • Classics and contemporary works that portray characters overcoming adversity
  • Stories of personal growth, courage, and perseverance
  • Titles that reflect themes of mental health, well-being, and the transformative role of reading

The physical exhibition will be available in the Main Library (2nd and 3rd floors) and in the NUSOM Library from September 9 to 12, 2025. If you can't make it to the library, you can check the online exhibition.

By engaging with these books, we invite you to reflect on how storytelling can inspire, comfort, and connect us, offering strength and understanding when it is needed most.

Visit the exhibition, discover new reads, and let literature remind you that even in the darkest moments, there is always light to be found.
