Eurasian Academic Libraries Training 2025 Held at the NU Library

From 1 to 5 December 2025, the Nazarbayev University Library, in partnership with the Association of University Libraries in the Republic of Kazakhstan, hosted the Eurasian Academic Libraries Training 2025 (EALT-2025). Over the course of five days, participants explored contemporary approaches to developing library services, supporting users, enhancing research communication, and advancing information literacy. The program followed an interactive format featuring discussions, workshops, and practical exercises.

The agenda also included an in-depth tour of the NU Library, where participants learned about the organization of reading spaces, service areas, and key internal workflows. In addition, they joined a campus tour and visited research laboratories, gaining a closer look at the university’s infrastructure.

EALT-2025 served as an important platform for professional exchange, collaborative learning, and strengthening connections within the library community.
