We are thrilled to share that two NU Library staff members, April and Lazzat, have been awarded the renowned FSCI 2025 Scholarship by the FORCE11 Scholarly Communication Institute (FSCI), held in partnership with the UCLA Library. FORCE11 is a global non-profit organization that brings together scholars, librarians, archivists, publishers, and research funders committed to advancing scholarly communication and open knowledge sharing.
The week-long virtual event brought together participants and instructors from across the world, offering a diverse set of courses designed to empower professionals in research and information fields. Remarkably, April and Lazzat were the only representatives from Kazakhstan, and their participation highlights the NU Library’s strong engagement in global professional development initiatives.
Their success is yet another testament to the NU Library’s commitment to professional development, research integrity, and technological innovation in academic librarianship.
