In October, the NU Library celebrated International Open Access Week 2025, held from October 20 to 24 under the global theme “Who Owns Our Knowledge?”
Throughout the week, the library hosted a series of interactive events aimed at promoting dialogue and raising awareness about open access. One of the main highlights was an informal discussion featuring NU faculty members who shared their experiences publishing in open access journals and benefiting from transformative agreements with major publishers such as Wiley, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, and the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM).
