From September 2 to 12, the second cohort of learners completed the course, Academic Publishing Support and Research Integrity.
The program was specifically designed for the newly established NURA, supporting researchers, grant administrators, and academic staff in managing award operations, disseminating research, and ensuring ethical publication practices.
Over two weeks, participants engaged in a five-module program that combined on-site lectures by NU Librarians with activities and assignments on Moodle. The course focused on:

- navigating the manuscript submission process;
- identifying high-impact journals through journal- and article-level metrics;
- using reference databases and bibliometric indices to support journal selection;
- applying criteria to avoid unethical publication practices.
