Showcase Your Trading Talent: Join the Regional Bloomberg Trading Challenge 2024 Now!

We are pleased to invite all NU students to showcase their financial skills and compete in the Regional Bloomberg Trading Challenge 2024! This exciting competition, organized by Nazarbayev University in collaboration with Bloomberg, the Graduate School of Business (GSB), and the School of Sciences and Humanities (SSH), is waiting for you!

How to Participate:

Step 1 — Registration (August 5 - 27, 2024): Form a team of 3-5 members, including a Team Leader. Register Here

Step 2 — Info Sessions (August 28 and 29, 2024): Join our online Info Sessions to learn all the competition rules and prepare for participation. These mandatory sessions will be conducted by Bloomberg representatives.

Step 3 — Challenge Period (September 2 - 20, 2024):

Use Bloomberg Terminals at the Media Room (5e.216) in the Main Library and Bloomberg Lab (Block C3, 5th floor).
Define market assumptions, develop strategies, and execute trades.

Step 4 — Reporting and Tracking:

Submit reports on your trading activities and results.
Your performance will be tracked by NU GSB and NU SSH professors.

Step 5 — Evaluation and Awards:
