A Year of Book Discussions at the NU Library

As the academic year comes to a close, we at the NU Library are happy to look back on our Book Discussion series held throughout the year.

Guided by our literature-loving librarians, Assel and Nursultan, these sessions brought the NU community together around such literary works as The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury, Great Expectations and A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, and Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes.

Each discussion provided a welcoming space for thoughtful conversation, personal interpretation, and the joy of shared reading. We believe that activities like these support students in developing critical thinking, empathy, and communication skills, and the NU Library is always committed to contributing to that growth.

Thank you to everyone who participated. We look forward to welcoming you to our future book discussions!
