Today, we marked a significant occasion – Librarian's Day in Kazakhstan! This special day is dedicated to recognizing the hard work and dedication of librarians across the country, and here at Nazarbayev University, we were thrilled to celebrate the contributions of our incredible library team.
A special acknowledgment goes to our NU Librarians, who were honored by Dr. Loretta O'Donnell, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, for their outstanding work and commitment to the development of the university. Their efforts continue to enrich the academic experience at NU and play a pivotal role in supporting students, faculty, and researchers.
But the celebration didn’t stop there! We are proud to share that three of our distinguished librarians – Galiya Alimova, Aislu Nurpeissova, and Tolkyn Jangulova – received prestigious awards from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This recognition highlights their dedication and professionalism in the field of librarianship.
