Digital Theatre+

The Library has a trial to Digital Theatre+ until June 13.

Digital Theatre+ is an on-demand platform for all students and faculty, providing on and off-campus access to:


 - 400+ full-length productions of a wide range of performances – including Digital Theatre’s own exclusive West End recordings of plays by Ibsen, Miller, Ravenhill, Clare Bayley, Sam Shepard and Frantic Assembly - alongside collections from the Royal Shakespeare Company, Complicite, Tara Arts, Talawa, Shakespeare's Globe, Cineplay, Broadway Digital Archive, Royal Opera House, Stage Russia, Stratford Festival, etc.


 - 300+ in-depth and incisive interviews with industry professionals and theatre artists, including companies and practitioners central to the study of contemporary performance, such as Split Britches’ Lois Weaver, Thomas Richards, Mike Alfreds, Peter Brook, Jatinder Verma, Eric Bentley and Pamela Howard. We also have an array of interviews with renowned actors and designers, lighting technicians, fight coordinators, stage managers et al.


 - 10,000+ pages of expertly written learning resources such as study guides and concise introductions to theatre and performance topics by leading academics such as Marvin Carlson, Jan Cohen-Cruz, Rose Whyman, and Jerry Brotton.

 - 100+ documentaries and masterclasses on the work of key figures such as Michael Chekhov, Augusto Boal, Samuel Beckett, Eugenio Barba and Barbara Housman.
