The collection was established in 2011 and currently includes electronic and multimedia holdings in Russian, English and Kazakh languages. The collection features digitized edition of "Туркестанский сборник" - 594 volumes of primary sources about Turkestan from local and international newspapers (1868-1939). The Collection grows through selection of resources by the subject librarians, requests from academics and researchers involved in Central Asia studies at NU and donations, in line with the library's collection development policy.
