Log into your Library Account to

• View and renew items you have checked out and when they are due.
• Check the status of your reserves.
• Check your textbook package. 

Borrow and Renew

There are two options to borrow books:

1. Use self check-out/in stations in the reading rooms.
2. Ask a Librarian at the circulation desk.

Notes:

• You need to have with you your ID card, which is also your library card. 
• Make sure that you have no books overdue, otherwise, you will not be able to borrow them.

If the due date has not expired, you can renew the book online.

1. Go to the library website to log into your account on the top right of the page
2. Click on the little arrow beside your name and go to "My Account".
3. You should now see the books you have checked out.
4. If the title of the book is still in green, click on the "Renew" button.

Attention! 

• If you have already renewed the book three times in this way, you will not be able to renew it for the fourth time. You need to return the book to the library.  
• If however, the due date has expired, your book will appear in red and you will not be able to renew it online. In this case, you need to bring the book to the library with your ID and the librarian can check it out for you again.

Borrowing Short Loans

Short Loans can be borrowed as follow:

• for two hours in the reading room;
• two hours before the closing of the reading room, a short loan book can be borrowed overnight with obligatory return on the next day until 11.00am.

Book Return

There are three ways to return books:

1. through the self check-out/in stations;
2. using Book Drop Terminals (temporarily unavailable);
3. at the circulation desk.

General Rules

You can borrow the following number of books:

• Undergraduate - 10 (not counting textbooks taken for the semester);
• Graduate - 25. 

Items past the due date cannot be renewed and must be returned.

Book Delivery

Fill out this form to have books from the Medical Library brought to the Main Library or vice versa (temporarily suspended).

Are all the copies of a book you want checked out? Follow these instructions to reserve the book.
