ICPSR: New Database
There is a new subscription to ICPSR until June 30, 2023.
ICPSR (Inter-univercity Consortium for Political and Social Research). An international consortium of more than 700 academic institutions and research organizations, ICPSR provides leadership and training in data access, curation, and analysis methods for the social science research community.
ICPSR maintains a data archive of more than 500,000 files of research in the social sciences. It hosts 16 specialized data collections in education, aging, criminal justice, substance abuse, terrorism, and other fields.
NU became a member of the Consortium, and all students, staff, faculty, and researchers at the University can download any datasets from the member-funded archive at no additional cost.
How to get started:
* Each NU member who will be downloading data needs to create an individual account.
* They do not need to log in to search for data or to explore the resources on the website.
* Access to the database is available from A-Z databases list.
