Media & Information Literacy Week 2021

In continuing our efforts to foster Media and Information Literacy (MIL) in Kazakhstan, Nazarbayev University Library in cooperation with Integrity Project joins the Global MIL Week 2021 and invites NU students, faculty and staff to a series of events from October 25 to 29, 2021.

The MIL Week 2021 commemorates the annual MIL Week celebration led by UNESCO.

This year #NULibrary hosts the Inter-University MIL Week 2021 “Media and Information Literacy for Public Good” jointly with partner Libraries from across Kazakhstan: the Library of NARXOZ University, S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University, M. Kh.Dulaty Taraz Regional University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University, and Kozybayev University.

The #MIL_KZ21 is aimed to develop participants' Media and Information Literacy skills, foster cooperation between Kazakhstani Higher Education Institutions in the field and strengthen the role of Academic Integrity in education and research.

The program includes an Instagram Contest, Online Quiz, and pannel with preeminent MIL experts, MIL Day celebration and much more.
