Individual Study Rooms: Changes to Access
To improve the quality of the booking service for Individual Study Rooms, the Library is changing the method/conditions of access to the rooms and will expand the functionality of the Booking System. Starting from April 5, 2023 the changes will apply in a pilot mode.
2. Come in time, the rooms will be unlocked so you don't have to take keys from the librarians.
3. To access the room and confirm your reservation, you MUST scan the unique QR code at the room and perform the Check-in procedures.
4. When leaving you MUST scan the unique QR code at the room and perform the Check-out procedures.
5. Please note, if, within 20 minutes from the start of your booking, you do not complete the Check-in the procedure, the booking will be automatically cancelled by the system. This means that the time slot can be booked by another visitor.
- You can enter the room no earlier than 10 minutes before the appointed time.
- Please observe orderliness and honesty.
- Do not occupy the rooms, even if they are free at some point.
- Always follow the Booking and Check-In / Check-Out procedures.
- Do not leave your belongings unattended in the rooms.
- Since the rooms will always be open, the Library will not be responsible for any loss.
- The Library reserves the right to prohibit users from booking the room due to unforeseen circumstances and/or unacceptable behaviour of users.
These changes are NOT applied to access to Group Study Rooms. Book a Group Study Room on the web page https://nu-kz.libcal.com/reserve/groups and check-in at the librarians desk.
