International Children's Book Day
On April 14, 2023, the NU Library in cooperation with the NU Graduate School of Education and the L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University organized the event entitled “Journey to the World of Fairy Tales” dedicated to International Children's Book Day at the Nazarbayev University Library. The event was aimed at promoting reading and emphasizing the importance of the role of books in the personal and intellectual development of children.
Children from different Kazakstani regions took part in this event. They met and talked with the writer Zira Nauryzbay and joined seminars from professors and students of the NU GSE. Their visit ended with an exciting NU campus tour.
